The Fuschia Is Now

02.08.08 1300 hours: Bryan leaves on a YM campout to Mt. Baker, even though there are landslide warnings all over the area. (My stomach is already in knots).

02.09.08 0800 hours: They descend only to find the highway is closed for at least 24 hours.

02.10.08 0800 hours: They re-enter society. Then it's off to early meetings at church, with a fireside in the evening. In the few hours the girls got to see Daddy this weekend, they snuggled up in his sleeping bag to listen to a book that repeated the phrase "the fuschia is now..." over & over. We're glad he came back to us safely.

Wow, I bet Bryan had some stories after that YM trip! Reminds me of one night that John went camping in the mountains the night of a lightning storm in Utah. Longest night of my life. I bet you were happy to see him home! I can tell your girls were!
