Experiment

Theory

We-by we, I mean my unsupervised girls-will prove that you can indeed flush a kazoo down the toilet. In theory, anything that you drop/purposely put into the toilet should go down, disappear, no longer get us into trouble. It might be a problem if it got stuck anywhere on the way down-obviously this was not a concern.

List

*kazoo
*toilet
*curious sisters
*time

Procedure

1. First, make sure you're unsupervised.
2. With kazoo in hand, run wildly around with your sisters in your parent's room in which you're not supposed to be playing.
3. On your last run, simply toss the kazoo into the toilet and flush.
4. To avoid an angry adult, try to cover up the truth for as long as you can.

Results

We-again, unsupervised girls-expected the kazoo to simply flush right down, freeing us from any trouble at all. In reality, the kazoo remained stuck inside the toilet, obstructing the regular flow and creating a funny noise with each flush thereafter.

Conclusion

We did not prove our theory. We've been told it will not ever work; to abandon all experiments of this kind. Chances are...we'll try it again.

ahhh experiments... Cheyenne did the toothbrush experiment when she was 3...uggghhh...so far Ocean hasn't attempted, though I'm sure if Liam got into the bathroom, all sorts or weirdo things would go in... :) Hope you were able to get it fixed, without too much trouble... :)

This is a great post! You are too funny. It's great that you can see the funny side of this though.

My friend's little boy threw a plastic ball down our toilet and it would not work immediately after. This was very bad considering we have only the one bathroom! We had to buy a new toilet that very night!

I don't know anyone that has raised kids and NOT had the toilet plugged with something that normally shouldn't be flushed. Thanks for the funny story. Funny for the rest of us anyway! :)
